Privacy Policy
LAST REVISED: 2025 · SUPERSEDES ALL PRIOR POSTINGS
BSE CONSULTANT, LLC ("BSE," "the Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company located at 1846 Harlan Rd, Toledo, OH 43615, United States, publishes and maintains this website under the direction of its developer, BSE CONSUL. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information in connection with this website, our communications, and our consulting practice — spanning management, human-resources and benefits, marketing, operations and supply-chain, environmental, and applied-sciences consulting.
By using this website or contacting us through it, you acknowledge the practices described below. If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the website and contact us with any concerns.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Contact and inquiry data: name, company or agency name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and the contents of messages or survey requests submitted through our contact form, by email, or by telephone.
- Engagement data: billing details, statements of work, site locations, operational data, and other information supplied to establish or perform an engagement.
- Workforce data: where a people-practice engagement requires it, employee compensation bands, benefits elections, organizational data, assessment results and labor-relations materials provided by the client.
- Operational data: freight invoices, rate schedules, inventory records, production data, logistics flows, utility accounts and supplier terms provided for operations-sector work.
- Environmental and site data: site locations, sampling results, remediation records, permits and regulatory correspondence provided for environmental work.
- Scientific and technical data: research materials, herd and crop records, building inspections, safety audits and discipline-specific data supplied for applied-sciences engagements.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, access times and general geographic region derived from network signals.
- Usage data: interactions with pages, forms and links, used for security monitoring, capacity planning and site improvement.
1.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information from clients' counsel, accountants, carriers, laboratories, engineering firms, public agencies and public records (permits, filings, tariff publications) as needed to perform requested services.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information only for purposes consistent with this Policy, including to:
- Respond to inquiries, evaluate requests, and scope engagements;
- Perform the contracted consulting work — analysis, benchmarking, planning, audits, assessments and implementation support;
- Verify identity and authority of persons acting for client organizations;
- Comply with legal obligations, including record-keeping, tax and regulatory requirements;
- Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- Invoice, account, audit and administer our business; and
- Communicate engagement updates, deliverables and policy changes.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client-supplied workforce, operational or site data for any purpose outside the engagement in which it was provided.
3. Sector-Specific Data Practices
3.1 People-practice data (Sector B)
Compensation, benefits and assessment data is handled as confidential employment information, typically as a service provider to the client. We process it only for the defined study, restrict access to the engagement team, and return or destroy it at engagement close per the statement of work.
3.2 Operations and supply-line data (Sector D)
Freight invoices, carrier contracts, supplier pricing and logistics flows are treated as trade-secret-grade client material. Tariff and rate information obtained from public sources is handled as reference material.
3.3 Environmental data (Sector E)
Site characterization, sampling and remediation data may be subject to regulatory reporting duties. Where law requires disclosure to an agency, we coordinate with client counsel before any non-required disclosure is made.
3.4 Medical-office and health-adjacent data
Medical-office management engagements are administrative in nature; where protected health information could be encountered, it is handled under applicable health-privacy requirements and any agreed business-associate terms.
3.5 Site and location data
Real-estate, site-selection and facility information is treated as commercially confidential; locations under evaluation are not disclosed outside the engagement.
4. Cookies & Analytics
This website uses only limited technical storage necessary for page delivery and basic traffic measurement. We do not deploy advertising trackers, cross-site profiling cookies or third-party marketing pixels. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies; the site will remain functional.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: hosting, telephony, storage and IT vendors under contractual confidentiality obligations;
- Engagement specialists: subcontracted subject-matter experts engaged for a station, bound by written confidentiality and data-handling terms;
- Professional advisers: your counsel, accountants and licensed professionals as instructed or reasonably necessary to the engagement;
- Regulators and legal process: where disclosure is required by law, permit condition, subpoena or court order;
- Protection of rights: where necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of the Company, our clients or the public;
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization, subject to continued protection under this Policy.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
6. Retention
Engagement records are retained for the periods required by contract, professional standards and applicable law — typically the engagement term plus statutory limitation periods for tax, accounting and record-keeping. Client-supplied working data is returned or destroyed at engagement close as the statement of work directs. When retention ends, records are securely destroyed or de-identified.
7. Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards — access controls, encryption in transit, restricted file storage, personnel confidentiality obligations and engagement-level separation of client data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we investigate and respond to incidents consistent with applicable breach-notification laws.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction and the capacity in which we hold your information, you may have the right to:
- Request access to, or a copy of, personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of information no longer required for lawful purposes;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including marketing communications;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.
To exercise any right, contact us at sophia.jones@bseconsult.shop or by post at the address below. We may verify your identity before acting. Where we process information as a service provider to a client (for example, employee data in a benefits study), we may refer your request to that client.
9. State & Federal Notices
9.1 Ohio residents
Ohio law does not currently impose a comprehensive consumer-privacy statute of general application, but we extend the access, correction and deletion practices described in Section 8 to Ohio residents on request.
9.2 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete and opt out of certain processing, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA.
9.3 Employment-related data
Where we process personal information of client employees as a service provider, that processing is governed by the client engagement and applicable employment-privacy law rather than this website Policy alone.
10. Children's Privacy
This website and our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes & Contact
We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date; material changes will be noted prominently. Continued use of the website after posting constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Policy.
